This Site operates a telephone line for pest control enquiries in Fort Lauderdale and Broward County. Fort Lauderdale Pest Control does not inspect structures, does not apply pesticides, does not fumigate and does not prepare wood-destroying organism reports. Each job is performed by a separate, independently owned local pest control company, and responsibility for the inspection, the materials used, the personnel on site, the price quoted and the result of the treatment rests with that company.

Pest control in Florida is licensed under Chapter 482 of the Florida Statutes, the Structural Pest Control Act, administered by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The duty to hold the licence the work requires, to have a certified operator in the applicable category, to meet the notification and posting requirements that apply to fumigation, to employ cardholders accordingly and to keep its own insurance in force falls on the company performing the work. This Site is not a licensed pest control business and makes no claim to be one, and it gives no assurance that any company's licence or insurance has been checked for a caller.

The company's licence number is given on request, by telephone on (855) 974-4733 or by the company when it telephones to arrange the visit, and the identification card may be asked for at the door. The number is not printed on these pages because it is the company's own private business information. Any number received should be verified with the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services before treatment is agreed. Nothing on this Site is a guarantee of a result, of insurance cover, or of a time of arrival.
